![]() ![]() Does a 1920x1080p video still stay that resolution (presumably interpolated) or does that reduce to say ~1800x900 (depending on the use case) as well? I hadn't thought of the resolution reducing. Some newer cameras include the stabiliser information along with the video so the appropriate software can "read" the stabiliser info and better apply to the result, better than the camera can do. The Google for free stabilization software gives this page ![]() usually the paid ones have maybe 30 days to trial before paying. Google gives me pages like this when I search for best post process video stabilization. It always of course crops dramatically so the link above advice to shoot with a higher shutter speed, with wider angle lens than normal plus best to use 4K makes sense when the post process crops so much. Most video edit programs have some form of stabilisation, some better than others. Some tips about shooting for post process stabilisation. I know Youtube helps do this, but I wanted something (ideally a light small software) to do it on my own computer. I was wondering if there's an app/software that has good video stabilizing features, to let videos shot by non-IBIS cameras have similar video stabilization to some of these latest phones with miraculously good EIS. ![]()
